Jock MKT is where sports becomes a stock exchange. We are building more than a fantasy sports game; we’re creating a social, interactive marketplace that lets you participate in live sports in a brand new way. Jock MKT processes millions of dollars of trades each month, and we are growing very quickly.
Jock MKT offers a unique experience in a rapidly growing and competitive industry. Users buy and sell shares of players in real time with real money, and each share has a guaranteed payout at the end of the games based on how well the player performed. The guaranteed payouts give shares an intrinsic value, and allows users to place an actual dollar value how much they think each share is worth.

What We’re Looking For:
We are a small, venture-backed team looking for an analyst to join the team. We are looking for someone hungry, entrepreneurial, and whose first love is data, and who knows how to leverage that data. Not only will you help grow our business through analysis, but also support and improve all operations as we scale.
This is not a one-dimensional role. Coming into a small team you’ll need to be dynamic and self-starting, and be able to manage and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously.
What You’ll Do:
Analysis: We have immense amounts of data from trading, app usage, marketing, and much more. We need help building systems to create actionable insights and optimize and scale.
Marketing: Assist in strategizing and managing paid and organic marketing channels.
Business Operations: Help us automate and improve processes that optimize user experience.
Business Development: Help maintain and grow our relationships with partners, as well as develop new partnership opportunities.
Who You Are:
- You are an expert in SQL, R, Python, or data science tools.
- You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- You enjoy sports and/or investing
- You have some side projects building betting models, analyzing stock markets, or other similar interests.
- You’ve worked for 2 or more years in a professional setting (more experienced the better!).
