We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of financial regulations, fundraisings, contracts, and governance within the fintech and payment industry. As part of our team, you will contribute to our mission by:

- Conducting in-depth research on financial regulations affecting the payment industry across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

- Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts, terms and conditions, and policies related to commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, data privacy, and more.

- Contributing to corporate governance tasks.

- Engaging in various ad hoc tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research and analyze financial regulations in targeted regions to support compliance and strategic planning.

- Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and company standards.

- Providing research and administrative support.

- Support corporate governance initiatives, including policy development and compliance checks.

- Collaborate with the legal team on special projects and tasks.

Requirements:

- Fluent in English, with excellent communication and writing skills.

- Excel in delivering high-quality work within stringent deadlines

- Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills

- A strong enthusiasm for the fintech and payment industry

- Open to candidates with a legal major from all academic backgrounds

- Proficiency in Asian (excluding Chinese and English), Middle Eastern, or European languages is highly desirable to communicate with stakeholders in the relevant markets

- Understanding of Cantonese is preferred but not required.
