About the role
Ketch is looking for an experienced privacy professional based in the EU/UK to evangelize for Ketch’s next generation data privacy and governance software and serve as a data privacy subject matter expert to support sales efforts. 

This is a cross-functional role that will call on a diverse and unique skillset: substantive data privacy expertise, skills and enthusiasm for business development, ability to explain technical software capabilities, and a strong network and the skills to leverage it on behalf of Ketch. 
A familiarity with the EU data protection legal landscape--laws and regulations, major developments and trends, important conferences and gatherings, prominent thought leaders--is a must.


In this role you will

    • Monitor European relevant data protection legal developments and trends and serve as a locally-expert resource for the rest of Ketch 
    • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the Ketch sales team in Europe, including regularly attending sales meetings/pitches to both explain and persuade 
    • Attend relevant conferences/maintain active membership in relevant organizations to effectively spread knowledge about and interest in Ketch 
    • Collaborate with Ketch Product Marketing to generate content/collateral directed toward the EU/UK market 
    • Identify, establish, and nurture revenue-generating partnerships with European law firms and legal consultants. There is powerful synergy between Ketch’s cutting-edge, programmatic privacy software and the expert counseling that outside counsel/advisors give their clients: Ketch can take those clients the last mile from knowing what they need to do, to getting it done.

Desired qualifications

    • A law degree (European or American acceptable) 
    • Law firm and/or in-house practice experience, the latter preferably in a technology company
    • The role will be remote, located in Europe/UK.
