The Pitch
We are a well-funded Series-A startup setting out to disrupt the data governance market. Our SaaS product delivers technology, not process, to help businesses deliver value to consumers while leveraging their data without violating privacy and trust requirements. Our patent-pending innovation combines cryptography, differential privacy and distributed ledgers, to ensure ownership, and use of, consumer data, adhering to regulations by design. We are a Super{Set} portfolio company with a beautiful office right at the Union Square in San Francisco. We are looking for a leader to help grow our FE development and teams.
Responsibilities
- Build applications with great appeal. Take pride in delivering stunning user experience
- Lead FE development and a team of FE development engineers
- Build and evolve highly efficient and performing FE architecture and infrastructure
- Own and continuously improve FE developer experience
- Take ownership of features from idea/mockup to live deployment, collaborating with stakeholders within and outside of the organizations
- Interact with stakeholders and end users on a regular basis handling in-bound supports and improvement requests
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer science or an engineering field with good exposure to software engineering
- Hands-on FE development experience in an Agile setting, with CI/CD, with AWS/GCP/Azure
- Startup experience
- A track record of demonstrating leadership as a tech lead, project lead, or an engineering manager
- Autonomous and a fast learner. Comfortable with shifting contexts. Moving quickly but not sacrificing quality
- Good at communicating thoughts, decisions and trade-offs clearly and pro-actively
Desired Skills
- Expertise in the modern JavaScript ecosystem
- Proficiency in advanced JavaScript libraries and ReactJS
- Knowledgeable in test strategies, security, performance tuning and tooling
- Experience in building enterprise SaaS on public cloud infrastructure, or consumer applications with a large user base
- Development experience on both mobile and web applications
- Experience with design systems (preferably Material-UI)
$165,000 - $225,000 a year
The US Base Salary range for this full-time position is $165,000 - $225,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
