Kyverna is recruiting a VP, Global Market Access to help advance its mission to free patients from the siege of autoimmune disease.  The ideal candidate will contribute to our goals of navigating what’s next in synthetic biology, immunology and cell engineering while living our core values: bring intellectual humility, elevate each other, and stay true to why.  

Responsibilities

    • Reporting to the SVP, Partnerships & Alliances, the candidate will:
    • Develops global market access strategies from product development through launch for the portfolio; this includes the development of value proposition, evidence generation, pricing and reimbursement plans, and producing HTA submissions to ensure patient access in key European countries and in the US. 
    • Ensures integration of patient access and payer perspectives into product development plans at all stages of development in close collaboration with Regulatory and Medical, Development teams; informs clinical trial and endpoint design. 
    • Manage product value demonstration strategies and evidence generation plans, including maximization of health economics and quality of life outcomes and development of value dossiers. 
    • Conduct a global needs assessment and plans for value-based contracting. 
    • Lead primary and secondary market research to guide patient-focused solutions.
    • Routinely review perspectives, priorities, and plans with the Kyverna Leadership Team. 
    • Partner with Business Development on pricing and market access diligence in support of partnership-related assessments
    • Develop a fit for purpose resourcing plan that aligns with company goals. 
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the SVP, Partnerships & Alliances

Requirements

    • Masters or Doctorate with 15+ years of global market access experience; history of direct HEOR responsibilities is a plus
    • Market Access experience in cell and gene therapy, or rare disease spaces is preferred
    • Experience as a designated lead to drive value story creation and evidence generation plans to support new product pricing and patient access in Europe and in the US.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with Regulatory and Development teams, including interactions with pricing and reimbursement thought leaders in the US and in Europe.
    • Effective presentation and communications with the executive leadership team.
    • Self-starter, thrives in an a dynamic environment, while working effectively in teams.
    • Ability to travel up to 30%
The salary range for candidates residing in California for this position is $322,000 USD to $395,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay for this posted position, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation geographic location, individual education, experience, tenure, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  This position is also eligible for bonus, benefits, and participation in Company’s stock option plan.
