The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of Lotic AI's products and services. This includes developing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and working with developers to fix defects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in QA, with a strong understanding of mobile and desktop applications. They will also be willing to learn and adopt new technologies, such as QA automation.

Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute test plans for new features and bug fixes
    • both functional and non-functional defects
    • Work with developers to fix defects
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest QA tools and techniques
    • Test backend APIs with availability, performance, and security in mind
    • Work with other teams to ensure the quality of Lotic AI's products and services
    • Conduct manual testing of new features and bug fixes
    • Investigate and report on the root cause of defects
    • Participate in code review
    • Develop and implement testing strategies for new products and features
    • Work with product managers to gather requirements for testing
    • Develop and maintain test documentation
    • Automate test cases using QA automation tools
    • Train and mentor other team members on QA best practices

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
    • At least 3 years of experience in QA, with a strong understanding of mobile and desktop applications
    • Experience with QA automation tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies
    • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
