The Technical Implementation Engineer, reporting to the Manager of Technical Delivery, plays a key role in implementing technical banking solutions of the Lumin Digital banking platform and facilitating data conversion into the system. This position emphasizes working closely with clients to gather requirements, implement and configure changes throughout the project lifecycle and create custom solutions using Lumin Digital's SDK. Experience in Banking domains or financial products and intermediate software development, along with exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities, are critical for success in this role.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities, Experience:
Implement, configure and test the digital banking application during the implementation phase and post go-live.
Collaborate directly with internal and external clients/vendors/project managers, product owners, development and management teams
Serve as a technical advisor to clients and project managers, providing tailored consultative solutions through a comprehensive understanding of product capabilities and client requirements.
Lead troubleshooting efforts with third party vendors and clients.
Perform requirement analysis and gap analysis to identify bugs and enhancements.
Analyze and translate client’s requirements into technical specifications.
Attend all project related meetings externally and internally.
Assist with data conversion efforts for client launches, vendor transitions, and mergers/acquisitions.
Capture and document workflows for client-specific features and custom implementations, contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base.
Provide support for production operations as needed to address technical challenges.
Review and develop software solutions to address custom requirements using Lumin Digital’s SDK.
Working knowledge and experience of programming languages, such as C#, Java, scripting languages, and SQL.
Take ownership of assigned tasks, working independently and as part of a team.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Supporting the production operations of working software systems
Other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Experience in financial software implementation, project management, business analysis, or system delivery preferred
Eagerness to learn new skills, technologies, and deepen finance knowledge
Implementation or development experience, preferably in Fintech domains.
Working knowledge of programing languages like C#, Java, Scripting languages, SQL preferred.
Knowledge of cloud-native technologies, including Kibana, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS
Knowledge of Microservice architecture and CI/CD process.
Experience using relational databases with SQL
Experience with JIRA or other agile project management tools
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Team player, flexible, ability to multitask, prioritize, problem solve and work independently.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, 2+ years of work experience in the Banking or Software industry.
Travel:
Minimal, generally 12 days or less per year, ~2X team get togethers a year
$100,000 - $130,000 a year
