The Luxor team has built a range of solutions for Bitcoin mining and compute power, including a globally distributed mining pool, firmware, an ASIC brokerage desk and RFQ platform, a wide variety of blockchain software, as well as Hashrate derivatives markets and tools. Our product suite is growing rapidly and as such we are looking to expand our product team.
This role will report directly to the CPO. This is a remote role.
We are looking a Product Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our rapidly expanding product offering. At Luxor, we value curiosity, high-level thinking, and commitment to drive our products forward.
A successful Product Manager at Luxor takes on as much of the 'dirty' work as possible to ensure the team operates with maximum efficiency, fosters alignment within the team, resolves problems quickly, thrives in ambiguity, and, most importantly, consistently ships code to production. You will collaborate closely with Engineering and Business teams to bring innovative products to market.
Responsibilities:
- Help to lead the strategy, planning, delivery, marketing and in-life optimization of a product.
- Build, maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
- Responsible for writing thorough user stories and work in close liaison with our Engineering Teams to address any questions they may have.
- Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to release, ensuring timely delivery and quality. You will be ultimately. responsible for scoping, execution and maintaining high standards across products.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in product-related positions with a proven track record of successfully launching software products.
- Proficiency in SQL, BI Software (such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Tableau, among others), and preferably at least one programming. language (such as JavaScript, Python, or Golang).
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- This position requires candidates to work from the Americas (GMT-6 to GMT-3).
Ideal Candidate:
- You prioritize building over strategy. Strategy is important but is a small part of the job. Product Managers that get tangled in endless strategy sessions do not achieve good results. There's a plethora of possible things to work on, the best PMs pick the one and have the energy to finish it.
- You are a swiss-army knife. Product Managers are involved in all aspects of the product and understand the in and outs of it. You need to be willing to do the “hard, boring, unglamorous” work of customer support, sales, marketing, writing copy & project management.
- You follow-up. Our job does not end once a feature is released to production. We analyze user adoption and friction, improve documentation, collaborate with marketing, business development and customer support teams.
- You are a router. The better job you do at bringing the right information together to the right person to act on it the faster stuff gets done. Being a great router often means being readily available whenever a situation grants your attention.
- You thrive in technical environments. You can speak the same language as engineers. Your capacity to grasp technical concepts swiftly and effectively communicate them enables you to earn the respect of the team responsible for executing your strategies.
