NOTE: This role is based in NYC. Lyra Collective operates a flexible, hybrid office policy in which employees are expected to be in-person on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
We are hiring a Brand Marketing Strategist for our Family brands - Natemia, Lusso Gear and Leashboss. Support our integrated marketing strategy and execution by managing our brand marketing calendar, social communities, partnerships exploration, and organic content. This role is both strategic and hands-on, overseeing a variety of day-to-day owned marketing operations while contributing to high-level, brand-building initiatives. You will get to do a little bit of everything within the marketing funnel as we build our brands from the ground up, and your goal is to create an impactful online presence that builds brand awareness, drives customer acquisition, and fosters community engagement. This role reports into the General Manager of Family.
What you'll do:
Brand & Content Strategy:
-Partner with brand leadership and Performance Marketing team to curate and execute our brands’ content strategy across social, affiliate, email, blog, and other emerging channels, with the intent to drive reach, optimize engagement, and promote brand storytelling
-Own Family brands’ content marketing calendar end-to-end, ensuring alignment across merchandising, promotions, moments that matter, and core brand goals
-Generate insights about our customer, product, and competitor market through various research methods, and use these insights to develop compelling campaign strategies and creative briefs that drive customer acquisition
-Lead collaboration with internal and external teams where relevant for marketing channels; acting as a project manager and potential owner where needed
Social Engagement
-Develop and execute an organic social content strategy to drive brand awareness and growth, including ownership of the monthly social content calendar, across Instagram, Meta, Pinterest, and TikTok
Drive audience growth and foster community through community management and inbound and outbound engagement
-Manage affiliate relationships through regular brand updates and connections - encouraging growth via unique incentivization programs
Brand Partnerships:
-Develop a partnership strategy for Family brands, focused on building relationships with organizations, brands, and other external partners that foster audience growth and engagement
-Identify and perform outreach to partners, deploying a variety of tactics including email swaps, giveaways, GWPs (gifts with purchase), product collaborations, and more
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing, social media, growth marketing, or owned media — ideally in consumer brands, DTC, or e-commerce
- Proven ability to build and manage multi-channel content strategies (social, affiliate, blog, email, etc.)
- Demonstrated success in using customer and market insights to inform creative and campaign development
- Deep familiarity with social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Meta) and their best practices, including community management and social listening
- Experience with influencer/creator marketing, including managing paid and organic partnerships
- Prior experience leading brand collaborations or partnerships (email swaps, collabs, GWP, etc.)
- Bonus points for experience in email marketing and SMS

$80,000 - $90,000 a year
