MBRDNA’s Autonomous Driving team is responsible for developing and implementing the next generation of autonomous driving systems together with US-based partners (Luminar, NVIDIA, etc) and colleagues in Germany. Systems include hardware and software.
 
The AD PM team is responsible for working cross-functionally to ensure that project deliverables are met on-time and support all relevant operational processes.

Relocation assistance (domestic or international) is not provided for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with company objectives and customer requirements with limited supervision.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure teams are meeting timelines and resources are utilized efficiently.
    • Manage multiple projects with limited supervision and ensure priorities are aligned.
    • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
    • Track operational KPIs and report out to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Manage expectations by providing regular project updates, status reports, and presentations.
    • Have a strong influence on internal document management system for project operational processes, ensure roles and responsibilities are known and understood by all stakeholders.
    • Influence collaboration and communication among teams including process updates and improvements.
    • Support ad hock operational needs and optimize day to day processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, or other Technical Discipline
    • Project Management education – PMP from PMI (preferred) or related certification
    • Strong Project/Program Management skills
    • 5+ years experience in Autonomous Vehicle development
    • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills are a must, ability to create visualizations of KPIs and program risks
    • Experienced with tools & processes required to manage complex projects (i.e. Gantt charts, risk matrix, Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
    • Advanced problem-solving ability and conflict resolution skills
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast pace, and sometimes ambiguous environment
    • Working on a computer for long periods of time
    • Ability to access inside/outside of vehicles and tight spaces
    • Valid Driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

    • 2+ years in technical program management role
    • Automotive manufacturer experience
    • Experience working with global development teams
    • Experience working on joint venture between large corporations
The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, job-related education, skills, and experience, geographic location, and market conditions. The current salary range for this position is as follows and may be modified in the future: $111,500 - $139,500.
