As an Accounting Analyst, you will help create scalable processes required to perform a timely period-end close and assist the finance team with day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, a strong critical thinker and problem solver, and extremely organized. You are someone who works independently on a variety of activities and adapts to a fast-changing environment. In this role, you will be reporting to the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the contract to cash cycle, including assisting with billing, accounts receivable aging, and collections, ensuring the accurate and timely process of receipts.
- Assist in the implementation of billing and revenue recognition platforms in order to maximize the use of the platform and drive automation of the processes.
- Develop and create period-end scalable processes relating to revenue, operating expenses, cash, accounts receivables, accounts payable, deferred revenue, and accruals.
- Assist with other finance-related projects, such as assisting with taxes and financial planning, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 2 years of professional experience in audit, accounting, or finance.
- Strong analytical skill set capable of defining problems and developing innovative solutions utilizing appropriate methods and frameworks.
- Proficiency with Excel.
Even better if you have, but not necessary:
- CPA
- Experience with US GAAP.
- Experience with Quickbooks, Stripe & Salesforce.
