Maple Media is looking for a curious and creative lifecycle marketing expert to join our Los Angeles-based team. This role will develop, execute, and optimize multichannel lifecycle marketing strategies to target users across our portfolio of digital apps. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is curious & inquisitive, welcomes challenges, and is excited about the mobile app & gaming industry. 

About the role: 

 Own, implement and analyze multi-channel marketing campaigns, including triggered automation, lifecycle series, and ad hoc messages
 Identify opportunities and develop new email series to increase user engagement, conversion, and cross-promote apps  
 Manage email database, create and implement segmentation strategies to optimize user targeting
 Conduct A|B tests to gain insights and optimize efforts, including segmentation, personalization, content, send time
 Own the email QA process, including proofreading for clarity, grammar, deep links, landing pages, etc.
 Collaborate with marketing & product teams to develop messaging and content, including promotional offers
 Partner with marketing designers to develop email templates & creative assets
 Track, analyze, and report on lifecycle-driven revenue, campaign performance metrics, user segments, & A|B test results

Desired skills and experience:

 5-7 years experience in multichannel lifecycle marketing (email, push, SMS, in-app)
 Must have hands-on experience with customer engagement platforms (Leanplum, Clevertap, Braze, or similar)
 Proficiency in HTML/CSS and email template implementation
 Solid understanding of data privacy legislation, including GDPR, CCPA, CASL, and the changing privacy landscape
 Strong ability to analyze key metrics to inform strategy and improve KPIs
 Ability to understand & empathize with users and know what they want and how our products create value for them
 Self-motivated and exceptionally organized
• Exceptional communication skills—is able to concisely explain campaign methodology and report on performance to the Leadership team
 Able to manage several projects while maintaining sharp attention to detail
 Desire to be a part of an early-stage team, to work with urgency and high attention to detail in a vibrant startup environment
• Mobile apps/games experience

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 base salary per year, plus bonus/commission opportunities and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level.
