We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team here at Monk’s Hill Ventures (“MHV”).
This is an opportunity for a curious and creative individual to work with an established venture capital firm in Southeast Asia that invests in the best entrepreneurs building the next iconic companies.
You will work with the Marketing team to drive the Monk’s Hill Ventures’s marketing efforts through supporting events, media campaigns and content strategy that is of value to a growing community of founders across Southeast Asia.
This role will report to our Marketing Lead based in Singapore.
Who is MHV? We invest in early-stage technology companies, primarily Series A, across Southeast Asia. We are entrepreneurs backing great entrepreneurs who use technology to improve the lives of millions of people in the region.

What We'll Do For You:
- Provide exposure to some of the region’s most innovative minds, from seasoned investors to ambitious founders.
- Better understand the inner workings of a venture capital firm, and the nature of tech startups.
- Learn about marketing and communications to gain practical exposure to various aspects of the field.
- It is a great platform to broaden your perspective and make meaningful contributions to a team that values growth and learning together.
What You'll Do:
- Take an active role in building out some of our flagship programs that serve the founders’ community, particularly to curate a community and strengthen relationships within the startup ecosystem.
- Curate a community of founders and align relevant programs to cater to different interest groups.
- Support in the execution of online outreach campaigns including developing compelling content online channels.
- Research topics of relevance to the investor and founder communities.
- Support in the delivery of programs, both online and offline.
What We Look For:
- Currently pursuing a relevant degree or diploma, with a keen interest in technology and/or investing.
- Proactive mindset and keen interest in the intersection of technology, startups and venture capital.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in the English language.
- Proficiency in a Southeast Asian language is a bonus.
- Strong organizational skills to handle the dynamic nature of events and campaigns.
- Collaborative spirit ready to work closely with the regional Marketing team, founders and investors.
