About This Opportunity:
At Mosaic, our Platform/Technical Ops team plays a vital role in our construction operations. The team’s responsibilities include ensuring that our in-house systems are available and issues are quickly filed and resolved, and uses scripting, low-code, and no-code solutions to automate routine construction management workflows. Our software development teams will also build custom software for the Platform/Technical Ops team to use in their day-to-day work. In this role, the Junior Platform Ops Engineer will report into the Director of IT and will work directly with members of our Construction Operations team, while also working closely with and providing input and feedback to our software development team.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Platform/Technical Ops Support:
    • Write code to automate routine administrative tasks.
    • Support the design and implementation of data logging and reporting solutions on an organizational level.
    • Partner with technology  and IT team members to assess best practices for leveraging and scaling  larger infrastructure to solve problems for internal customers.
    • Help produce and set up systems that are scalable, automated, and well-documented.

    • Operational Support:
    • Provide ongoing training and support for new and existing users on how to effectively utilize our systems.
    • Support the build out, scaling and deployment of Mosaic’s tools.
    • Take a service-oriented approach to support internal and external stakeholders; understanding their needs, troubleshooting and unblocking issues related to Mosaic’s technology.
    • Set up new users in Mosaic’s systems.
    • Ensure that our systems are up to date, secure and available.

    • Project Management:
    • Support in the design, set up and ongoing management of  an IT support system for ticket tracking, feedback collection, etc. 
    • Research and report on best in class solutions for new  systems, processes and tools that Mosaic should consider implementing.
    • Track tickets & ongoing tasks, report out on them. 

Required Qualifications:

    • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field, or equivalent experience (1-2 years).
    • 1 - 2 years experience in computer systems and systems administration.
    • 1+ years experience in coding, data analytics & data analysis.
    • Technical customer support experience is a plus!
    • BIM modeling experience is definitely nice to have.

Required Tool Experience:

    • Developer or scripting environment.
    • Scripting as it pertains to APIs.
    • Asana or similar task management systems.
    • Google Suite (Drive, Gmail).
    • Slack.
$60 - $90 a year
Salary: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 - $90,000 + benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by job family, job level, and candidate location. The pay range displayed on each job post reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on candidate location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience as well as relevant education and training. Company Work-Environment Philosophy: Mosaic is a flex-first work environment, meaning some of the roles are worked primarily on a remote basis with some visibility to the corporate offices while others are worked physically in the corporate office or other such assigned in-person physical hub with some flexibility for occasional remote.  These schedules are pre-designed and physical workspaces pre-determined based specifically on the position and visibility needs.
