Your Responsibilities
Functional Testing & Prototyping:
- Conduct comprehensive functional testing of prototype electronics products using specialized test equipment.
- Perform calibration procedures and ensure accurate software flashing to validate product performance.

Electronic Board Assembly and Rework:
- Identify and rectify issues through the exchange, soldering, and rework of electronic components on circuit boards as required.
- Ensure the integrity and performance of electronic assemblies through assembly, meticulous inspection, tear-down and hands-on troubleshooting.

Test Harness Development & Mechanical Assembly:
- Design, build, and maintain test harnesses to facilitate accurate product testing and validation.
- Engage in mechanical assembly tasks, ensuring the proper integration and assembly of electronic components into finished products.

Lab Coordination & Maintenance:
- Oversee the testing lab operations, ensuring equipment functionality, maintenance schedules, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Instruct and coordinate with working students, logistics personnel, and testing support teams to streamline workflows and ensure timely testing and delivery of parts.
- Design, build, and maintain test harnesses and fixtures to facilitate accurate product testing

What you bring with you

    • Successfully completed apprenticeship in a technical field (technician, mechatronics, electrician, etc.)
    • Working experience as technician, good soldering skills and understanding of electronics are essential, IPC certification is a plus
    • Detail oriented work procedures and high quality of workmanship is essential
    • Experience in working with high voltage systems, trained for “Arbeiten unter Spannung” is a plus
    • Some experience in the field of testing, software or electro(mechanical) projects desired
    • Highly motivated, willing to take responsibility and ownership of labs and equipment
    • Creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm for innovative electronics solutions for electric vehicles
    • Preference for working in teams and strong communication skills (English & German favorable)
