At Nomagic, we’re on a mission to teach robots the real world. We’re now looking for a Robot QA Specialist, who will be responsible for testing new features, picking up bugs in releases and running daily stability tests.

What will your responsibilities be:

    • Evaluate the robot's performance: Perform tests following clear guidelines and provide feedback on the results.
    • Understand basic robot features: Operate robot functions like manual jogging, using the HMI (Human-Machine Interface), restarting the station, and handling tools like the robot controller, ATI box, and redeployment tasks.
    • Identify and fix minor issues: Resolve small issues such as exchanging or cleaning suction cups, resetting the vacuum pump or cameras, and reporting damages to your Team Lead or On-call when necessary.
    • Collaborate and escalate: Work with Lab Robot Operators and Engineers to address problems, providing clear descriptions of issues and the steps already taken to resolve them.
    • Understand the station layout: Become familiar with the production setup and its purpose to ensure smooth evaluations.

    • No prior technical experience? No problem! You'll receive training to succeed in this role.

What skills we’d like you to have:

    • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
    • Practical knowledge of Google Workspace tools.
    • Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
    • Eagerness to learn new things.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team.
    • Basic technical knowledge.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Previous experience with QA and/or robotics is appreciated but not required.

What we expect from you:

    • Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week, including weekends.
    • No student status (due to contract requirements for trips abroad).
    • Willingness and ability to travel abroad for on-site assignments with clients.
