The Manager, Video Production will report to the Media Director and lead the PDQ video production team, driving the strategic direction of our video content initiatives. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end video production process, from ideation to execution, ensuring high-quality and impactful content. This role requires a creative leader with a proven track record in video production, a keen understanding of industry trends, and the ability to inspire and guide a talented team. Must be willing to travel as needed for conventions, client testimonial shoots, etc.

** This is an on-site role to candidates in the Salt Lake City area. Standard schedule is Monday – Thursday, 9 hours/day. On occasion, additional hours may be necessary. 

What you'll be doing:

    • Create a video strategy in collaboration with the marketing leaders and company strategy that focuses on supporting the company's brand and business objectives, with video content that spans the full customer journey. 
    • Manage and mentor video editors, creating an environment that fosters collaboration, learning, and improvement.   
    • Oversee the conceptualization and development of engaging video content across various platforms and channels. 
    • Manage and prioritize multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. 
    • Develop and manage budgets for video production projects, optimizing resources to achieve cost-effective yet impactful results. 
    • Maintain a high standard of quality for all video content produced, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience. 
    • Manage and optimize company YouTube channels 
    • Oversee video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained 
    • Monitor and report on video performance analytics 
    • Participate in the production of customer-facing content through producing or monitoring weekly webcasts and videos 

We're looking for people who have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, film, or a related field preferred. 
    • 7+ years of experience in creating professional written and video content, including filming and editing 
    • Previous experience managing video editors 
    • Technical acumen to operate, configure, and set up, video, audio, lighting, or other production equipment 
    • Strong understanding of video and audio editing programs (including Adobe Creative Suite) 
    • Ability to create content through concept brainstorming, scriptwriting, directing, and post-production 
    • Deep understanding of pre- and post-production video techniques 
    • Proficiency in motion graphics 
    • Cross-Functional Partnership: Actively engage with other departments and teams to facilitate seamless collaboration, ensuring alignment of goals and effective cross-functional cooperation.
