Our Mission: We're on a mission to digitize the packaging industry with data, process automation, AI and great UX to increase the market share of sustainable packaging.
We help companies to reduce material usage, increase recyclability, use recycled plastics, substitute ordinary plastics with alternatives or replace plastics with flexible paper.
Now, we’re expanding our impact by bringing a new SaaS product to the market, which optimizes packaging procurement and management for our customers and makes a significant contribution to reducing their environmental footprint.

Your Tasks
- Your focus will be frontend web application engineering, but everyone in the team works full stack with a strong product focus. We first and foremost build products, that bring value to our users
- You maintain the existing applications as well as build and operate the next generations of our Packmatic web apps, which serve our customers, suppliers and partners
- We currently use React and Vue.js 3 in the frontend and NestJS in the backend. TypeScript everywhere – but we always chose the best tool for the job and we look forward to relying on your expertise making future decisions
- DevOps is not a person, It’s our mindset. You deploy your code to production, you deliver functionality and value to our users – “You build it, you run it!”
Your Profile
- You are experienced in designing, building and operating web applications
- You enjoy working in a product-focused, cloud-based, high-pace startup environment, because it offers a lot of freedom and opportunities to take ownership and grow
- You have years of professional working experience with React and/or Vue.js
- Experience with TypeScript and backend engineering is a strong plus.
- Terms like REST, JWT or DDD aren’t just buzzwords for you. Having hands-on experience with any of those is a big plus
- You have experience with test automation, continuous integration & continuous delivery. You know and appreciate the differences between trunk-based development and other Git workflows.
