WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
We are seeking a highly motivated IT Administrator to join our team and provide essential support in managing our company's IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with management, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of our IT assets.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with management to achieve task/projects.
- Manage the company's IT assets and serve as the first point of contact for IT support.
- Provide and maintain up-to-date inventory status of tracked resources for end devices and accessories.
- Perform activities for staff issuing/returning of items, checking and processing outstanding loans for staff, including sending reminders.
- Follow up with vendor(s) for any replacement of Hardware/Software.
- Review baseline images and work with the respective team to determine whether they require updates for software, drivers, OS, etc.
- Ensure all collected devices are reconditioned before deploying to end-users.
- Handle ad-hoc activities for the deployment and collection of miscellaneous hardware (headsets, iPad, etc.).In charge of cables, CCTV, phone lines, hardware inventory, photocopier access, and related items.
- Maintain Google Suite, SAAS, Billing.
- Provide general administrative support to various departments.
- Process IT Procurement Requests (PR) from users.
WHAT EXPERTISE YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE?
- Diploma/Degree in an IT discipline with at least 1-3 years of hands-on relevant working experience.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus.
- Proven experience in managing Mac OSX and Windows OS. Proficient in Microsoft Office Software, particularly Excel.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong knowledge of antivirus solutions and VPN configurations.
- Experience in access management, including user access provisioning and permissions.
- Proficiency in asset management and licence tracking, including mobile devices, monitors, laptops, peripherals, printers, and scanners.
- A commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
