Pelago by Singapore Airlines is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our brand marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and grow our brand reach globally. You will work closely with the brand lead and design team to ensure that our social media strategies align with the broader business objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Building Pelago’s brand presence on social - Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy and execution in alignment with brand goals. Channels: Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube shorts. social media content planning, community management 
- Create engaging and relevant content for IG and TikTok, including videos (reels), statics (photos), memes, travel guides
- Identify and build relationships with appropriate KOL partners to drive brand growth and UGC - strong knowledge and existing network with local and regional influencers would be beneficial
- Work with speed and agility: act quickly on trends + stay on top on global trends
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, and Design teams to deliver campaigns
- Stay up to speed with global trends and culture, and ensure this is reflected in our brand’s storytelling on social media
- Drive user engagement by building a community, responding to posts, developing discussions, social activations, giveaways, IG takeovers etc
- Contribute to the strategy and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and product launches, and design and execute activation / buzzworthy social campaigns 
- Ensure search-optimised travel content where relevant
- Measure and report back on the metrics / success of the campaigns across channels
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies and engage with external consultants/ Meta/ Youtube/ and Tiktok proactively
- Monitor competitor social media activity
- Key success metric: Driving organic reach and engagement
- Collaborate with Singapore Airlines business units on social 
- Drive follower growth on Instagram and TikTok - budget management and setup, optimisation and reporting of ad campaigns

Qualifications:
Must Haves:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Social Media manager
- Excellent knowledge of Tiktok and Instagram
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, photography / video editing skills.
- Ability to be in front of, and behind the camera, voice over where necessary
- KOL management
- Technical skills: Canva, Photoshop/ Illustrator, Capcut, Social media management tools, Meta/TikTok Business Suite and Ads Manager

Good to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, communications, or related field
- Knowledge of Youtube and other social media best practices
- Ability to manage and operate budgets in a fiscally responsible manner
- Ability to work with speed and agility: act quickly on trends and stay on top on global cultural events
- Solid understanding of social media KPIs and what makes the consumer tick
- Excellent multitasking and time-management skills
- Have a keen eye for design and trends on social and possess a knack for storytelling
