Role
Pesto is hiring a Technical Community Manager to help with the day-to-day operations of running our developer community, managing our events programming, and nurturing leaders in the community. You’ll be working and collaborating with Abhishek and Himani on various initiatives.
What you’ll be doing
👉 Events: Plan, execute and host events with guest speakers that provide value for the community members
👉 Community: Engage with the experienced developers in the community to advocate for their needs
👉 Nurture: Building and growing relationships with the most active members of the community
Our ideal profile
Must have:
* 1-2 years of dev rel experience or in a community engagement capacity
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Love interacting with developers
Nice to have:-
* Experience working on open source projects
* Experience in building community across some of the following channels: Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, Discord, blogs, meet ups, public speaking at events
*Experience hosting talks and creating content for devs
*Strong social presence
*1+ years of experience as a software engineer
