Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Fiori Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP ABAP development with a strong focus on Fiori/UI5 development. This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing SAP Fiori applications, enhancing existing ABAP programs, and providing technical expertise in SAP Fiori/UI5 technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, including custom Fiori apps, extension apps, and standard Fiori apps.
- Customize and enhance existing Fiori applications to meet business requirements, ensuring high performance, usability, and responsiveness.
- Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Fiori/UI5 development.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for Fiori applications.
- Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements using SAP ABAP programming language.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Fiori/UI5 applications and ABAP programs to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, coding standards, and guidelines in Fiori/UI5 development and ABAP programming.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices in SAP ABAP and Fiori/UI5 development.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 9-12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on Fiori/UI5 development.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 framework, Fiori design principles, and SAPUI5 controls.
- Experience in developing custom Fiori apps using SAP Web IDE, Eclipse, or other Fiori development tools.
- Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including object-oriented ABAP, ABAP dictionary, and ABAP debugging.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori elements, Fiori Launchpad configuration, and SAP Gateway services (OData).
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori security concepts, roles, and authorizations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- SAP certification in Fiori/UI5 development is desirable.
- Experience with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, or PP is a plus.
