Who we are looking for:
Phoenix Tailings is looking for an experienced rare earth metals trader. In this position, you’ll be reporting directly to the VP of Partnerships to build out Phoenix Tailings's rare earth trading operation.
We are looking for initiative risk-takers who enjoy the rigor and excitement of a fast-paced startup and are finding ways to make an impact in the world.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute the company's rare earth metals sales, and rare earth feedstock acquisition strategy.
- Lead sales of rare earth metals, including NdPr, DyFe, Tb, and others.
- Work closely with the technical team and Chief of Staff to understand specific feedstock requirements and acquire relevant non-Chinese & non-Russian sources.
What you have:
- Extensive knowledge of the relevant rare earth markets, both in China and the Rest of the World.
- An extensive network of potential buyers and feedstock producers.
- Ability to source, negotiate and close multi-million dollar deals.
