The Role

We’re looking for a well-connected Technical Recruiter delivering talented staff to SaaS and Paas companies to join Plainsight as we continue to grow! This position will support the expanding hiring needs of our international, fully remote team. This is a full lifecycle position that includes sourcing through closing responsibilities. The Technical Recruiter is responsible for utilizing creative sourcing and closing techniques to identify high-quality candidates and fill roles in emerging technologies (eg. Machine Learning and Computer Vision). This highly visible role will interface with teams across different departments to create and implement hiring strategies and build successful teams.

What you'll be doing:

    • Interacting with hiring managers to understand the roles and responsibilities required for the position as well as identifying key traits within the departments to ensure a key team member is hired.
    • Craft and distribute effective job descriptions to build and properly communicate the opportunity available to  qualified candidates
    • Drive recruiting process and move forward in a timely and efficient manner; time is of the essence.
    • Drive innovative sourcing and closing strategies to access and hire top talent
    • Develop and maintain a consistent talent pipeline that can be quickly accessed and engaged
    • Continuously work on ways to improve the process; find innovative ways to seek out talent and maximize efficiency of our assessment process
    • Leverage your network and experience to engage candidates, assess and hire talent for primarily Engineering and Product, but also Design, Sales and Marketing roles.


    • 5+ years recruiting experience. At least 3+ years in a technical recruiting role for companies delivering SaaS and PaaS products.
    • Experience recruiting for a growing software company strongly preferred
    • Ability to work independently, across time zones and disciplines
    • Demonstrated successful recruiting in a high-growth environment
    • Experienced in identifying, developing and maintaining pipelines of potential passive candidates on an ongoing basis
    • Ability to maintain continuous communication with candidates throughout the interview lifecycle, with a focus on candidate experience throughout the entire process
    • Proven passion for partnering with multiple internal departments to truly understand their needs and culture in order to introduce the right talent
    • Experience in owning the recruiting process for an open requisition from start to finish
    • A proven quantifiable track record of closing high-level quality technical candidates with strong retention ratesKnowledge of sourcing strategies for attracting candidates with experience in emerging technologies
This role is 100% remote. Our entire company works virtually, and often across time zones. You will be based remotely and will need to be well-versed in the use of Slack and video conferencing.
