PR and Communications Manager

We are looking for a public relations and communications leader to drive Poparazzi’s mission, vision and values to target audiences within our community, which include our prospective users, existing users, marketing partners, industry leaders, and more. This leader works relentlessly to showcase Poparazzi’s unique position in the social media landscape and the value it brings in highlighting friendships.

You’ll create and execute the communications strategy, leveraging your existing PR relationships while creating new ones. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing consumer business with an existing scale and do needle moving impact work from the ground up. Your role will be given significant autonomy and freedom. 

We’re looking for a Manager who is passionate for storytelling to lead the PR and communications goals for the company.


    • Develop strategic and thoughtful communication plans for the company to create a consistent buzz-worthy drumbeat 
    • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to own launch plans and story angles that resonate with our target audience
    • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to find the right external opportunities to tell engaging business and product stories
    • Proactively chase executive and team spotlight opportunities, business awards and recognition opportunities, and media opportunities
    • Own the beginning to end process of seeding potential PR campaigns, pitching, execution, and recapping


    • 3 to 5+ Years of relevant experience in communications and public relations. 
    • Excellent strategic, verbal, and communication skills.
    • Thoughtful leader, team oriented, priority awareness, passion and sense of ownership.
    • Experience in managing relations with external agencies and public relations partners.
    • Thrives under pressure and is motivated to be in a fast paced environment.
    • Scrappy, get-shit-done mentality.
    • Demonstrated interest in social media, cultural events, and mainstream media.
