Potloc is seeking a dynamic and experienced Alliance Manager to spearhead the development of our alliance organization from the ground up. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape and grow strategic alliances from scratch. Reporting to the Sales Strategy Director, the Alliance Manager will be instrumental in diversifying Potloc’s routes to market via net new business alliances, to drive business growth and innovation.

In terms of roadmap and KPIs, we envision the following strategy: 

Phase 1 - Identify & Develop (3 months):
• Ecosystem mapping and up to 10 discovery meetings/week. In 6 months, you’ll meet approximately 200 potential alliances out of which we will deep dive with 10 and close 3 strategic alliances.
• Relationship building.
• Work with Marketing, Product, Sampling, and Sales
• Selection of 3 key partners, based on potential and ease of implementation.
• First revenues

Phase 2 - Implement & Manage (on-going):
• Define + implement governance frameworks and partnership agreements.
• Progress documentation and definition of objectives.
• Build alliance scorecards. 

Phase 3 - Revise & Sustain 
• Monitor & continuously evaluate partners 
• Work with Product, Engineering, and C-levels to evaluate product integrations 
• Invite new partners to the program 
• Scale 


• Develop and execute a comprehensive alliance strategy to establish and grow partnerships that will impact Potloc’s two main verticals: Management Consulting + Private Equity. Your responsibility will be to identify opportunities, build relationships, and scale selected partners. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align alliance initiatives with business objectives and priorities (product & engineering, supply, sales & marketing). 
• Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, including revenue-sharing, gain-sharing, and referral models, to drive mutual success.
• Act as the primary point of contact for alliance partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring ongoing collaboration and alignment.
• Drive the development of innovative business alliance models to maximize value for all parties involved.
• Lead the expansion of alliance initiatives into technological partnerships.  
• Monitor and evaluate alliance performance, tracking key metrics and KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to inform alliance strategies and tactics.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in alliance management or partnership development, preferably within the technology and/or data industry.
• Proven track record of successfully building and managing strategic alliances, with past experience working closely within the consulting and private equity ecosystem. 
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders (internal & external).
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on partnership opportunities that drive business growth and innovation.
• Experience developing and implementing innovative business alliance models, such as revenue-sharing, gain-sharing, and referral programs.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
