The Vice President of Investor Relations is responsible for carrying out all investor relations strategies, policies, and programs in order to maximize long-term company valuation. This candidate will drive both the internal and external communications plan surrounding investor relations, convey summary financial communication, and engender investor and analyst confidence. 

The VP of Investor Relations will report to the CFO.


    • Execute short and long-term strategies to attract and inform investors and analysts in a manner that communicates the company's financial performance, strategy, and key metrics.
    • Serve as the primary response point for daily inquiries from the investment community, in compliance with company disclosure policies and applicable SEC rules and regulations.
    • Stay apprised of market reactions to company issues, peer news, and industry trends. Share relevant information with internal management.
    • Analyze financial and other relevant business and competitive information and interpret key financial and operational data for the company, our peers, and the markets in which we operate.
    • Advise the executive team and board of directors regarding financial trends, shareholders' concerns, and competitor actions that might impact the company.
    • Build high-level investor narrative and messaging, reflecting knowledge of the company, our sector and the macro environment, and feedback we hear from investors.
    • Develop content for earnings call materials, financial press releases, and SEC filings including deep analysis and data interpretation and the ability to communicate financial and operational information in a clear and concise way.
    • Clearly call out what to highlight, as well as some “land mines” or risk areas
    • Lead preparation of briefing materials for all investor engagements.
    • Collaborate with Finance and HR teams on all corporate announcements.
    • Strong and detailed knowledge of financial statements, equity valuation models, and reporting requirements.
    • Deep understanding of Reg. FD and other SEC disclosure rules and regulations.
    • Ability to work independently across cross-functional internal teams and external relationships, and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple large-scale projects.
    • Maintain the company’s investor and analyst communication channels, including via dedicated IR email, email address, and phone number, and proactively respond to inquiries. Work with marketing to maintain an effective and regulatory-compliant IR website section; ensure brand consistency, ease of access, and use and timely dissemination of key disclosures.


    • Experience in Business, Accounting, Finance, Communication or equivalent education and experience, with strong experience in Accounting/Finance and Investor Relations.
    • 10 or more years working with investors in an investor relations capacity at a public company and/or working with public market investors in another capacity, such as a sell-side / buy-side research analyst or in an equity capital markets group at an investment bank.
    • Credibility with the investor community, including research analysts.
    • Ability to think on your feet.
    • Demonstrated ability to balance the narrative between risk and reward.
    • Superior financial and investment analysis capabilities, including a clear and thorough understanding of financial models, key drivers, and valuation techniques used by financial and investment professionals.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt quickly to a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
    • Outstanding communication skills.
    • Must work effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, as well as external audiences.
    • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $$210,000 to $250,000 + equity + benefits.  Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all U.S. locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.  At Presto, it is not typical for the individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case.
