We are growing fast and are currently looking for a passionate Senior Accountant. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and will play a key role within our Accounting team. You will need to move fast and be comfortable with wearing many hats and juggling multiple projects. 

Responsibilities

    • Participate in month-end close process
    • Performs general ledger balance sheet reconciliations, verify accuracy of data
    • Inventory and cost accounting maintenance and reconciliation
    • Sales Tax liability reconciliation
    • Year End Audits
    • Fixed Assets Maintenance and preparing monthly depreciation entries
    • Responsible for Bank Account Reconciliation
    • Responsible for Credit Card Reconciliation
    • Support monthly and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and accruals
    • Responding to information requests and assisting with audits
    • Analyze and summarize account information and trends
    • Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential
    • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA/ In process cert. desired but not required
    • 2+ years of public accounting experience desirable
    • 5+ years of senior level accounting experience
    • Familiarity with accounting and finance principles and procedures
    • Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability to multi-task
    • Strong knowledge and proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word and Google Sheets
    • Start Up and fast paced tech company experience desired
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality 
    • Can do attitude
    • Ability to get things done
    • Sense of urgency and drive projects to closure

Nice to have

    • Experience managing or supervising others
    • Experience using Net Suite, Bill.com, Expensify, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Divvy (Credit Card Management System)
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000 + equity + benefits.  Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all U.S. locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.  At Presto, it is not typical for the individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case.
