Your Mission

As our new Junior Accountant, you'll be a vital contributor to our small, agile Accounting team, tackling core financial activities and helping us build for the future. You'll play a key role in ensuring our daily financial operations run smoothly, gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced tech environment.

Here’s how you'll make an impact:

Master Daily Accounting Operations:
Accurately injecting and booking our revenues, particularly for B2B2C customer invoices.
Processing purchase invoices, credit notes, and expense reimbursements.
Efficiently booking bank statements.
Performing thorough transaction reviews and reconciliations.
Managing customer invoicing within our Accounts Receivable (AR) tool.

Contribute to Month-End Close: Actively participate in the crucial month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Ensure Financial Accuracy: Reconcile customer accounts and meticulously allocate purchase invoices.

Support Strategic Initiatives: Assist in the analysis and interpretation of accounting records, providing valuable insights to management.

Drive Process Improvement: Help implement new accounting tools and processes, contributing to greater efficiency and scalability.

Collaborate and Support: Provide essential ad-hoc support to our Senior Finance Manager and fellow Accountants.

What You Bring

We're looking for a proactive individual with a foundational understanding of accounting principles and a hunger to learn and grow.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or possess equivalent relevant experience.
You have initial, relevant experience as a corporate accountant or within a fiduciary setting.
You're familiar with ERP tools such as Winbooks, Zoho, Exact Online, or Sage.
You boast excellent Excel skills.
You are fluent in English, along with either French or Dutch.


Bonus points if you have knowledge of: BE GAAP, IFRS, Belgian Insurance accounting standards, fiscal principles, and related legislations.
