Your Job :
As Head of the Finserv Business Development, you will develop and execute strategic prospects & clients to drive business growth and expand our reach. You will lead a team to identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with key stakeholders, including other companies, organizations, and influencers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, relationship management, and strategic planning.
Your Responsibilities:
Strategic Client Development:
● Develop and implement a direct go-to-market strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
● Identify potential prospects and opportunities that align with the company's mission and vision.
● Conduct market research to understand industry trends and the competitive landscape.
Relationship Management:
● Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
● Negotiate client agreements, including terms, pricing, and deliverables.
● Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure clients' compliance and financial viability.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
● Work closely with product, marketing, and partnership teams to integrate the Finserv GTM into the overall business strategy.
● Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of client initiatives.
● Provide guidance and support to teams involved in client implementation.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
● Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of clients.
● Monitor finserv client performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
● Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Team Leadership:
● Lead and mentor a team of junior sales managers and account managers.
● Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
● Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Your Profile :
● 7+ years of proven experience in sales development and management within the Finserv industry, with a focus on banks and fintechs.
● Experience working in commercial areas with a deep passion for sales.
● Strong understanding of insurtech, trends, and market dynamics.
● Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
● Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships at all levels.
● Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
● Proficiency in contract negotiation, drafting, and management.
● Ability to travel internationally.
● Fluency in English.
