About the role
The claims department of Qover is looking for a Claims Automation expert who is willing to be part of an ambitious entrepreneurial journey aiming at disrupting the European claims market. Someone with a "can-do attitude", passionate about ensuring the best claims and customers' experience and who is looking to have fun.
 
Main responsibilities
        Responsible for claims straight through processing. Analyse input data and rules to determine what type of claim can be automated and how. Maintain existing automations and ensure they are relevant and compliant.
        Support new products and programs launches as the claims specialist. Orient and take decisions aligned with the department's vision.
        Analyse opportunities, propose improvements, and own the efficiency of the claims department via tools, processes, configurations and project changes to boost that metric.
        Extract and deliver claims data reports to external and internal stakeholders.
        Own the configuration and maintenance of the claims management system.
        Identify, report, and handle incidents related to claims. After escalation, mitigate their impact and help resolve them.
        Support the claims manager in various tasks, initiatives, and analyses.
 
Main tasks
        Gather, analyze and present data to support your decisions
        Optimise processes
        Collaborate with a range of stakeholders (claims department, internal Qover teams, partners, external providers, insurers)
        Negotiate and rally people around your ideas
        Write business requirements for configurators, developers, and external providers
        Document changes, processes, and features in a clear and concise way
        Test and validate new features, processes, and systems before allowing their promotion to production
        Train the claims department on changes
 
Your profile
        You have a minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance or consulting industry
        A proven record of claims knowledge is a strong asset (through operation, support or project exposure)
        You have relevant experience in project management or process improvement
        You speak fluent English, any other European Language is a plus
        You have a sound working knowledge of Google applications (i.e. Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Slack, etc, and ability to grasp new systems quickly
        While not being a developer, you have an appreciation of key IT concepts
        You are solution-oriented and business-driven
        Effective communicator with various stakeholders
        You are resourceful, well-organized, and thrive in a dynamic environment
        You have a passion for continuously improving your methods
        You can effectively multitask and prioritize a varied workload
        You can work in fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities
        You are self-motivated, open-minded, curious, and flexible, with a "can do" mentality
