Shipping/Receiving Coordinator

We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to help organize our storage areas and maintain our inventory. Your job will be to prepare and fulfil orders fast and correctly so we can provide high-quality customer service.

Requirements

    • Prior experience in the medical device/pharmaceutical industry
    • Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards.
    • Load and unload packages
    • Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, cranes etc.
    • Receive and check incoming pick tickets.
    • Wrap orders and place them on trucks for delivery.
    • Document orders, materials, and any stock movements
    • Shipping using Fed-Ex or another Courier. Receive and visually inspect        packages for damage and sign for deliveries from vendors, UPS, FED-X, DHL, and others.
    • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for associate and customer traffic.
    • Confirms delivery completion in the business system.
    • Should be able to support Material Handling tasks sensitive to medical device products

    • Knowledge of inventory control
    • Ability to lift heavy materials.
    • Data entry, math, and computer skills
    • Be able to take instruction in written and spoken English.
    • QAD system

Education and/or Job Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years within the medical device/pharmaceutical experience
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
    • Previous stock or inventory experience a plus
    • Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack a plus
$60,000 - $70,000 a year
