Regard Clinical Advisors are physicians who leverage their clinical expertise to improve Regard’s AI clinical insights platform. You will design and implement clinical algorithms and perform quality assurance on Regard’s ability to process data from various clinical sites and EHRs, surface and suggest medical conditions, and present relevant and actionable clinical data to clinicians.
No prior coding or informatics experience is necessary, but you should be excited for the potential of technology to transform the practice of medicine and eager to learn new tools. You are an excellent clinician with a sound knowledge base in your area of expertise. You stay up to date with and meticulously evaluate the medical literature in your field and practice evidence-based medicine.
This is a flexible schedule, remote, contract opportunity. At least 2 hours per week on average is a required commitment, with the ability to perform up to 8 hours per week on average at your discretion.
This role will report directly to the Chief Medical Information Officer but will work closely with the Regard Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver a revolutionary new way to practice medicine.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement clinical algorithms within your area of expertise
- Review and test Regard’s clinical algorithms using internal tools
- Address feedback from clinicians using the software
- Collaborate with Clinical, Product, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot clinically-related software issues
Qualifications:
- Board certified in an ABMS-recognized specialty or currently enrolled in an ACGME-accredited fellowship
- Excellent foundation of clinical knowledge with the ability to meticulously and discerningly evaluate medical literature
- Ability to commit at least 2 hours per week on average
Preferred Qualifications:
- Self-starter in learning new technical skills and leveraging internal technical tools
- Outstanding time management skills
- Excited about working with a small team in a dynamic startup environment
$100 - $150 an hour
At Regard, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your skills, qualifications, location, and experience. We expect the hourly rate for this position to be in the range of $100 to $150 an hour. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This contract position does not qualify for benefits.
