REGENT is building the seaglider; the first electric flying machine that will transport commercial passengers. With a vehicle that never flies higher than a few meters off the water, we unlock the ability to fly twice as far as an electric aircraft, and certification by maritime authorities which will let us fly first passengers by mid-decade.

We are backed by the world’s best investors: the same investors who are behind SpaceX, Anduril, and Boom Supersonic, in addition to strategic investors like Lockheed Martin, Japan Airlines, and Hawaiian Airlines. We have over $8B in orders from some of the industry’s largest operators and are hard at work getting our full-scale, human-carrying prototype on the water next year.

REGENT is hot off a $60M Series A and keeping a tight book of our exponentially growing transactions requires a seasoned professional to step in and own it.  Working closely with REGENT leadership, you will help scale REGENT from today – with $95M raised, 60 people focused on prototyping, in a 30ksf facility – through the next phase of growth: raising hundreds of millions further to fuel growing to hundreds of people, opening sprawling manufacturing facilities, and successfully executing on global seaglider distribution and maintenance.

Maturing our accounting and AP processes is a top company priority with a line of sight to ever-larger defense contracts and fundraising rounds ahead. This position will initially report directly to the CEO and as REGENT brings on more industry-leading talent, this role will eventually report to the CFO, once hired.

Due to the importance of this role, the pace of life at REGENT, and the communication requirements among a diverse set of stakeholders on our team, we are looking for a candidate who is ready and excited to support full-time from our Rhode Island HQ, though transition timelines will be accommodated for the right candidate.

If you’re as motivated as we are to revolutionize coastal transportation and help REGENT bring a new and fully electric form of transportation to the world, then join our amazing team!
