Resilience is seeking a mid-senior level professional specializing in (re)insurance to help expand our Managing General Agent (MGA) carrier partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing and developing relationships with key insurance and reinsurance capacity partners to support our rapid growth.

Reporting to the Head of Capacity and COO, International, the successful candidate will build and develop relationships to enable Resilience to continue executing its insurance business functions and enable its steep growth trajectory in the future.

Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on developing capacity partnership strategies to expand existing partnerships.
    • Supporting the team in creating innovative capacity solutions to enhance Resilience's market position and facilitate the development of new products.
    • Managing and overseeing portfolio operations, including monitoring and generating reports.
    • Managing inbound and outbound communications and requests with Resilience's capacity partners.
    • Organizing and leading essential capacity meetings, including review sessions, updates, presentations, and underwriting audits. 
    • Develop white-papers, marketing and presentation materials, and newsletters for Resilience's partners.

Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of reinsurance or MGA underwriting/broking experience preferred in a cyber or casualty line of business.
    • 10% travel requirement domestically and internationally.
    • Start up experience.
    • Experience working across multiple time zones. 
    • A self-starter attitude, dependable, and excellent communication skills are key requirements
