The Role:
As a Product Manager, you will take ownership of developing and evolving key capabilities of the RevolutionParts ecommerce platform; ensuring we build the right solutions for our customers that continue to delight and create value. Responsibilities:
- You will lead the strategic development and execution of our Seller Experience e-commerce product roadmap, focusing on optimizing the seller journey and payment transaction processes.
- You are working with the customer, business, engineers, and peers to understand the customer's needs, come up with solutions, build, and iterate.
- You are providing very clear requirements and acceptance criteria to your development teams on the work that needs to get done.
- You will drive A/B testing and experimentation to identify improvements to payment processing and billing/invoicing to RP customers.
- You will help us build tools that connect parts sellers to other suppliers that can drop ship and fulfill orders on the seller's behalf.
- You are running down clarifications with anyone that may own the answers (or researching and providing yourself).
- You will monitor and analyze key metrics related to funnel performance, user behavior, and sales data to identify opportunities for optimization.
- You are building strong relationships with your dev leaders. You will collaborate with those stakeholders to define and implement merchandising strategies, including product assortment, pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience specifically as a Product Manager for a customer facing ecommerce site (B2C).
- Strong understanding of online payment processing, user experience, and seller behavior.
- Extensive background in e-commerce technologies, tools, and platforms.
- Previous experience working at a startup company.
- Experience working directly in product management and engineering in an Agile environment with some user experience and design knowledge.
- Solid knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and experience conducting experiments to drive optimization.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and SlackNo previous automotive experience is necessary, but a desire to get a greater understanding over time is important. Most of the people at the company came from other industries.
