RevolutionParts is looking for an experienced Technical SEO Manager to help expand our Technical SEO capabilities. As a member of the agency team, you will own all things Technical SEO for our in-house e-commerce platform that serves more than 2000 customers in the automotive parts sector.
In this role, you will act as not only a consultant to our customers but also as an advisor to our Product team to drive the enhancements that our e-commerce platform needs to compete for organic traffic against the top competitors in the space. The ideal candidate is extremely passionate about SEO, possesses a healthy amount of curiosity, has a high fluency with data, is comfortable setting aggressive goals, and can operate autonomously to achieve those goals.
Responsibilities:
- Own driving the technical SEO requirements of our internal e-commerce CMS platform.
- Develop and execute sophisticated technical SEO strategies to optimize website architecture, bolster crawlability, and enhance overall site performance.
- Conduct comprehensive website audits to pinpoint technical SEO issues and identify opportunities for enhancement with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including web developers, web content producers, and clients to implement technical SEO best practices that align with overarching business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, algorithm updates, tools, and emerging technologies, leveraging insights to shape strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
- Analyze metrics and key performance indicators to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and offer strategic guidance for technical SEO optimization.
- Work to put in place safeguards to provide monitoring for breaks in site structure that can cause user pain and negatively impact SEO.
- Serve as a technical SEO authority, furnishing insights and guidance to internal partners.
- Understand and build custom site maps.
- Audit site structure to identify urls issues or site meta data causing inefficient site indexing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Technical SEO role, demonstrating a track record of developing client-side SEO Technical SEO strategies.
- Consistent record of driving organic search growth and improving website performance.
- Deep understanding of technical SEO concepts, including website architecture, crawling, indexing, and site speed optimization.
- Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Lumar, etc.
- Experience using content management platforms.
- Strong analytical prowess, capable of interpreting data, deriving insights, and making data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at communicating effectively with both business, technical and executive teams.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
$90,000 - $120,000 a year
