This role will focus solely on landing brand/catalog data from the manufacturer or their information management system to the RevolutionParts Platform (Aftermarket & OE). You will report to Revenue Operations, and you will be on the front lines to ensure that data is obtained, documented, and ingested efficiently and effectively so that our Implementation Managers can carry out the eCommerce build. 

The ability to identify data gaps and to develop internal processes that enable us to land and enrich catalog data are necessary.  Additionally, you must be familiar with all industry Personal Information Management Systems (PIMS) (SEMA DataCoOp, Opticat, PDM) to manage accounts and the approval of data access properly.

We want you to take the lead and work directly with customers to ensure that their data is clean and is correctly deployed to their eCommerce experience.

Responsibilities:

    • Internal owner of Catalog Data from manufacturer sources 
    • Deep understanding of Personal Information Management Systems (PIMS), Product Information Exchange Standards (PIES), and Aftermarket Catalog Enhanced Standards (ACES), as well as a general understanding of related data 
    • Attend sales calls to work with potential customers so that they may have confidence in the data portion of our product offering
    • Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets related to automotive parts, including attributes such as makes, models, submodels, engine sizes, and transmission types
    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve catalog-related issues efficiently, including catalog conflicts, data inconsistencies, and application data discrepancies
    • Clear and effective communication is essential for liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, conveying technical information, and addressing inquiries
    • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring data accuracy and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree OR at least 5 years of experience in catalog management with a focus in aftermarket/ecommerce
    • Working knowledge of many of the industry Personal Information Management Systems (PIMS) (Some of the more common systems are Opticat, SEMA Data Co-Op, and PDM)
    • Experience with software tools and platforms used for catalog management in the automotive aftermarket, such as ACES (Aftermarket Catalog Enhanced Standard) and PIES (Product Information Exchange Standard)
    • Understanding of AutoCare standards, including ACES and PIES, and proficiency in utilizing related tables such as QADB (Qualified Attribute Database) and PADB (Product Attribute Database)
