RYZ Labs is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer to join one of our client’s teams, a rapidly growing science-driven biotech company reimagining skincare through the lens of longevity.

- Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift).

- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools (dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte, or similar).

- Familiarity with data modeling concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling, normalization/denormalization).

- Experience with pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster) and job scheduling.

- Knowledge of Looker/LookML or similar BI platforms.

- Understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and cost optimization best practices.

- Experience with Git-based workflows and data quality testing (Great Expectations or dbt tests).

- Centralize data sources into Looker to create a single source of truth for reporting and analytics.

- Design and optimize data pipelines, ensuring they are automated, reliable, and cost-efficient.

- Define job scheduling strategies (batch vs. real-time) to maintain a stable infrastructure.

- Own the transformation of raw data into reusable, clean, and tested datasets through dimensional modeling.

- Partner with analysts and business teams to enable self-service analytics and scalable reporting.

- Monitor and maintain the integrity, performance, and security of data infrastructure.

- Continuously review the data architecture to identify improvements and efficiencies
