RYZ Labs is looking for a talented Senior Elixir Developer to join our client’s team in the sports merchandising sector. You'll craft high-performance backend APIs within the AWS ecosystem, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. You will be focused on improving the collector experience and developing administration systems and internal tools allowing the business to operate efficiently. You will collaborate with your engineering teammates on strategic decisions. Our stack is primarily Elixir-base, utilizing the Phoenix Framework with

LiveView frontends. Postgres databases and an event based system using RabbitMQ. We leverage quality APIs and tools, such as Terraform, deploying onto AWS EKS. We rely on GitHub Actions in our dedication to continuous integration and deployment.

- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience

- Experience building web applications with Phoenix or similar frameworks

- Experience with LiveView is a plus but not required

- Experience building GraphQL and/or REST APIs

- Strong proficiency in Elixir programming language and functional programming concepts.

- Understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Familiarity with database systems and PostgreSQL

- Experience with Git and working with a team (e.g. Pull Requests)

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- A portfolio or examples of previous Elixir LiveView projects is a plus.

- You have experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform or similar technologies that enable the construction and deployment of infrastructure with code

- You have worked with (or are interested in learning about) CQRS and the concepts of an evented system

- You worked on integrating legacy systems and code with a modern platform or system
