Join our client's team as a Film and Video Editor - AI Trainer and utilize your industry expertise to shape the future of AI-driven editing. In this role, you will empower artificial intelligence to grasp the artistry of storytelling through editing, pacing, and post-production workflows, ensuring intelligent systems capture the nuance and creativity that human editors bring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train AI models on film and video editing principles, focusing on storytelling, shot selection, and visual narratives.
- Collaborate with technical teams to provide annotated examples, feedback, and guidance for editing tasks.
- Curate and organize video assets, working alongside producers or directors to optimize workflows for final production.
- Edit or synchronize soundtracks with visuals to achieve seamless audio-visual integration.
- Evaluate and refine AI-generated edits, offering detailed written and verbal feedback to enhance learning.
- Advocate for best practices in pacing, synchronization, and visual clarity within the AI editing process.
- Maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in editing moving images on film, video, or digital media platforms.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to clarity and detail.
- Experience working with producers or directors to achieve a creative vision in post-production.
- Solid understanding of synchronization, pacing, and visual storytelling techniques.
- Ability to provide structured, actionable feedback and effectively document processes.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working remotely in a collaborative setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in training AI or working closely with machine learning teams in a creative context.
- Background in teaching, creative mentorship, or editorial leadership roles.
- Familiarity with workflows that integrate both sound and image editing (excluding specialized sound engineering technicians).
