RYZ Labs is looking for a VP of Engineering and Site Lead to build and lead the engineering team of one of our partners in Latin America. You will report to the global Chief Technology Officer. As a key member of the Engineering Leadership Team, you’ll establish the engineering presence in Latin America, including attracting, hiring, managing and retaining top technical talent. You will serve as the regional leader and key decision-maker for operational matters.

- Prior experience in country, regional, and/or site leadership

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering

- 6+ years of experience as a people manager, including experience managing managers

- Proven results attracting, hiring and retaining a high performing technical team

- Planning & Execution - Extensive experience in planning and executing ideas to support system operations in a fast-paced environment

- Entrepreneurial Site building - Capability to serve as the founder of a new engineering team based in Latin America that can scale to dozens of engineers in the first 1-2 years

- Leadership & Strategy - Experience in creating team goals that align with organization's vision and goals
