RYZ is seeking a QA Manual Tester to join one of our clients in e-commerce. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications, particularly in the e-commerce domain. You will be responsible for designing and executing manual tests to identify issues before product launches. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality assurance and has an interest in automation.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
-Execute manual tests for web and mobile applications, ensuring functionality and quality in -alignment with project objectives.
-Identify, document, and track software defects in a clear and concise manner.
-Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into testing strategies.
-Provide detailed testing reports and work toward resolving issues in a timely manner.
-Participate in the development and implementation of QA processes and procedures to enhance product quality.
-Assist in developing and maintaining automated testing scripts as part of a longer-term goal of increasing automation coverage.
-Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process within the team and organization.
-Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, manual and/or automation
- Solid experience in testing e-commerce applications and understanding e-commerce processes and workflows.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
- A keen interest or exposure to QA automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, or similar, and willingness to further develop skills in automation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex issues clearly to different stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
