As SKIMS continues to expand its retail presence. We are seeking an experienced and driven Store Leader with a strong focus on business operations, to drive the success and growth of our flagship NYC store.
Job Summary:
The Store Leader for business operations will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of business operations, including sales performance, inventory management, staffing, and financial planning. This role requires a strategic and analytical leader who can ensure operational efficiency, maximize profitability, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a deep understanding of retail operations, a passion for fashion, and a track record of managing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Operations and Strategy:
Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation to drive store performance and profitability.
Develop and implement operational strategies and processes that align with SKIMS’ overall business goals and brand standards.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), sales trends, and customer data to identify business opportunities and optimize store performance.
Collaborate with senior management to create and execute business plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market dynamics.
Financial Management:
Oversee financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, expense control, and P&L management, to ensure the store meets or exceeds financial goals.
Conduct regular financial reviews and provide insights to identify areas of opportunity and risk.
Develop action plans to address underperformance and maximize sales growth and profitability.
Inventory and Stock Management:
Ensure effective inventory management practices, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and shrinkage control, to maintain optimal stock levels and product availability.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, manage slow-moving stock, and reduce waste.
Work closely with the buying and planning teams to ensure the right product assortment is available to meet customer demand.
Cash Management compliance
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors, associates, and support staff to achieve operational excellence and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and create development plans to support team growth and career progression.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity.
Customer Experience and Service Excellence:
Ensure a seamless and personalized customer experience that reflects SKIMS’ values and brand ethos.
Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Train and empower the team to deliver exceptional service, building lasting relationships with customers and brand loyalty.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards, to maintain a safe and secure store environment.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure operational standards are upheld.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in retail management with a strong emphasis on business operations, financial planning, and inventory management; experience in a flagship or high-volume store is a plus.
Proven track record of driving sales, managing P&L, and achieving financial targets in a retail environment.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven mindset.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, retail management software, and inventory management systems.
$130,000 - $140,000 a year
