About the Role:  
We are seeking a new Controller to join our team. This key leadership role will report to the VP of Accounting and lead all areas of the controllership function including, GL accounting, inventory management and cost accounting, A/R, A/P, fixed assets, lease accounting, and treasury / cash management. The person for this role will be hands-on in leading and developing a best-in-class Accounting team and driving process improvements and efficiencies to support a growing business. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
·       Direct oversight of day-to-day and monthly transactions and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, costing, and the overall general ledger 
·       Oversee all month end and year end close processes including variance analyses. 
·       Lead the annual financial audit and maintain strong relationships with the external audit teams 
·       Implement and maintain internal controls where practical 
·       Partner with financial reporting team to analyze impact of new accounting guidance, support intercompany accounting, and externalfinancial reporting including disclosures where applicable 
·       Partner with tax team to support the income tax provision as needed 
·       Support cash flow and treasury management  
·       Lead a high-performing team; ensuring achievement of key goals and outcomes through regular performance management. 
·       Identify and implement systems, tools and process changes to streamline the work of the accounting function and reduce time to close 
·       Partner with the technical accounting team to analyze new accounting guidance, including evaluating the impact of new guidance on the financial statements  
·       Collaborate with FP&A team to streamline budgeting and forecasting processes 
·       Partner with key business stakeholders to support business needs 
 
About You:  
Minimum Qualifications: 
·       Undergraduate degree in Accounting with active CPA license 
·       Minimum 12-15 progressive years of experience is required, with a mix of public accounting and consumer industries preferred 
·       5-6 years of experience managing accounting teams  
·       Strong management and leadership skills with an excitement to both roll up your sleeves and be a thoughtful, company-wide partner 
·       Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills 
·       Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite  
·       Exceptional knowledge of cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 
·       Must be very organized, detail-oriented and possess exceptional time management skills 
·       Highly motivated, self-starter who manages projects end-to-end and has a demonstrated track record of getting results, organizing and prioritizing deadlines 
·       Ability to multi-task several important priorities simultaneously
