The Sauce team pools together decades of restaurant tech experience, along with seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product and operations executives who produce an industry-changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains.

Back office & technical support team members are responsible for technically onboarding new customers, configuring the back-end system to be perfectly built and ready for use by new Sauce restaurant partners!

Sauce integrates differently with every 3rd-party we work with, understanding and identifying how to configure each is important!

As a part of the role, you will also work on technical support tasks coming from the field in real time, while solving configuration & integration issues.

What You'll Do:

    • Building new websites through WordPress and potentially other web-building platforms
    • Configure admin settings and point of sale integrations
    • Handle technical support requests related to configuration and system integrations.
    • Customize themes, plugins, and layouts to match business requirements.
    • Working on different technical support/configuration/integration tasks (in real time)
    • You will report directly to the Back Office Team Lead!
    • Knowing how to juggle tasks, and be on top of each is crucial to the success of this role!

What You Bring:

    • 2+ years of experience in a technical role (engineering, technical support)
    • Quick learner & Strong multitasker
    • Motivated & hungry to grow within the company 
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Ability to understand and solve technical issues with a little guidance
    • Patient and understanding with high attention to detail
    • Customer-focused with a positive attitude
    • Enjoy structuring processes and sharing knowledge 
    • Strong communication skills and a team player
    • Ability to take the initiative and work in a dynamic environment
    • English-speaking, but Bilingual would be a plus (English + Spanish)
    • Previous experience working with restaurant industry customers, both restaurants and their diners

Required Technology & Equipment:

    • Personal computer or laptop with up-to-date software
    • High-speed internet connection
    • Keyboard, mouse, working webcam, and headset with a microphone
    • Primary 24” monitor (with an additional 24” monitor preferred)

Shift & Schedule:

    • 5 days a week (inclusive of weekend days when needed)
    • 9 hours a day with one hour paid lunch
    • Available Shift #1: 9 AM - 6 PM EST
    • Available Shift #2: 1 PM - 10 PM EST
