About the role

You will be SeedFi’s first Technical Program Manager. We have four highly capable product & engineering teams shipping continuously across web, native, internal and backend tools. We’re growing our user base incredibly fast. We’re looking for someone to be our first TPM to bring chaos to order.

What you'll be doing

    • Coordinate the delivery of large, company-critical projects
    • Get involved at the earliest stages of new projects all the way through shipping.
    • Work across product & engineering teams and stakeholders (Risk, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, etc.)  
    • Help the executive team make tradeoff decisions based on technical risks and operational considerations.
    • Help our organization mature by creating processes and practices.
    • Setting the tone for a world-class TPM team.

What we're looking for

    • 4+ years experience as a program manager
    • The ability to inspire a sense of urgency just by showing up to a call.
    • Penchant for building trust with engineering teams.
    • The inability to “stay in your lane”: you want to understand the constraints, whether technical, compliance, or operational.
    • Prioritize resolving blockers over just asking for status updates.
    • Desire to work with strong business and technical teams to strike the right balance between shipping speed and prudence.
    • Sincere ambition to improve financial health for struggling Americans and strong appreciation for the customer experience.
    • Comfort with chaos and enormous willpower to bend it towards order.
    • Ability to distill unstructured problems into concrete action items.

We have offices in San Francisco and New York.  We have started to reintegrate in-office time into our working routines with a long-term vision of creating a hybrid working environment that mixes in-office and remote time. Our goal is to utilize in-office time to effectively collaborate on complex projects and problems, build relationships across the organization, and engage in social activities.  We also want to embrace the efficiency and effectiveness we have experienced over the last year and a half in getting individual contributor work done remotely. Specific working routines may vary depending on your role.
