About the role

As Head of Marketing Analytics, you will play a critical role in developing and advancing our marketing analytics infrastructure. We’re already in high-growth mode and you’ll be responsible for laying the groundwork for all of our marketing data infrastructure and decisioning frameworks as we scale the business.

What you'll be doing

    • Plan and implement overall marketing analytics strategy
    • Help define appropriate marketing metrics/KPIs, measurement methods, and experimentation processes to power a data-driven marketing program across both paid and unpaid channels
    • Develop media mix and multi-touch attribution models, helping drive cross-channel analytics and optimization
    • Build a deeper understanding of user behavior in all stages of the customer lifecycle, from acquisition through retention, and identify corresponding business opportunities
    • Explore new growth opportunities, defining key metrics used to size impact and measure success
    • Help develop a deep understanding of customer profiles across multiple products using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
    • Support experimentation by providing guidance on what to test, how it should be tested, and evaluating results
    • Partner with key business leaders to deliver corporate reporting, forecasting, and planning across marketing programs
    • Collaborate with Product to develop and improve marketing analytics infrastructure, including data pipelines and predictive models****

What we're looking for

    • 10+ years of analytics experience, ideally in financial services and at high growth businesses
    • Proven track record of business impact in driving analytics for a growth, performance, direct response, or other ROI-goaled marketing program
    • Strong analytical and technical skills, with a willingness to be very hands on
    • Experience applying experiments, lift tests, attribution, and other measurement techniques to measure and optimize the performance of marketing campaigns
    • Effective analytics management skill - good at prioritizing the highest-impact work and effectively coaching and empowering a team of analysts
    • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships cross-functionally and with senior leadership

Location

    • We have offices in San Francisco and New York. We are just now starting to reintegrate in-office time into our working routines with a long-term vision of creating a hybrid working environment that mixes in office and remote time. Our goal is to utilize in-office time to effectively collaborate on complex projects and problems, build relationships across the organization, and engage in social activities. We also want to embrace the efficiency and effectiveness we have experienced over the last year and a half in getting individual contributor work done remotely. Specific working routines may vary depending on your role.
