We’re a lean team that’s expanding quickly, and we’re looking for someone who believes in our vision to shift the way people experience scents.

The Role:

Social media is an integral part of our growth at Snif. We are looking for a full-time Social Media Manager to join ourteam and help us build and scale our presence across platforms. As a Social Media Manager at Snif, you will help lead strategy, content creation and execution onInstagram, Facebook, and Twitter, and help create the vision for expansion of followers and engagement. 

You will own content creation, managethe Snif social calendar, spearhead influencer & celebrity outreach and relations, engage with our Snif audience, and collaborate with our leaders to ideate, plan and execute content across all social channels. If you are a creative self starter who has a passion for storytelling and content creation then this is the job for you!

What You'll Do:

    • You will work to bring our brand to life on Instagram and you’ll be responsible for executing Snif’s social media strategy on the platform. Understanding the ways in which our audience interacts with our brand on Instagram (versus other platforms) is critical
    • Create, source, schedule and post all social content to maximize engagement and drive growth
    • Provide ongoing social media reporting and establish growth targets
    • Maintain the monthly social media calendar based on objectives and strategies of our wider team and marketing calendar
    • Engage with Snif’s social community and work closely with our Customer Experience team to resolve customer inquiries 
    • Help evolve our brand both visually and vocally, and create strong emotional connections between our community and our products 
    • Quickly come up to speed on our established tone, voice and brand identity, and seeknew ways to continuously stay relevant to help push the brand forward
    • Work closely with our Founders and Marketing teams to source, manage and execute influencer and celebrity marketing strategies including product seeding, establishing affiliate partnerships and content creation  
    • Must filter all content and copy through our “brand principles” ensuring that everything we do is hyper-focused on Snif’s mission, aesthetic and voice (this role is a bit unique in that you will help shape these principals)
    • Identify relevant brand, creator, or influencer partnerships and opportunities  

What You'll Bring:

    • 4+ years of experience in social media, marketing, and/or communications 
    • You are sharp, enthusiastic, witty and can think outside the box
    • You have a passion for storytelling and content creation
    • You are a creative thinker that brings innovative ideas to reach our audience
    • Experience scaling social media platforms in terms of followers and engagement
    • You are an active social media user (Instagram is a must), are plugged into pop-culture, and general trends. A love for beauty, fragrance and candles is a plus!
    • Must be a team-player and a strong communicator
    • Incredible attention to detail (including grammar, formatting and design) 
    • An independent self-starter who can prioritize and drive projects forward with minimal guidance
    • An excellent multitasker who can work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
    • Experience with social design platforms such as XD and experience with Planoly
    • A great sense of humor ;)

Bonus Points:

    • Startup experience preferably at a CPG company 
    • Copywriting experience across a variety of platforms
    • Experience interacting with celebrities and influencers 
    • Experience with graphic design tools like Canva, Illustrator, and Photoshop
