The Role:

As the Lead SDR, you will be responsible for driving the success of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team through strategic leadership and hands-on coaching. Your role involves recruiting, training, and mentoring a high-performing team of SDRs while establishing clear KPIs to track and enhance performance. You will develop and implement targeted outbound sales strategies specifically for the SMB segment, ensuring the generation and qualification of leads that align with our ideal customer profiles. Collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams, you will manage and analyze the sales pipeline to identify trends, forecast accurately, and implement strategies that drive revenue growth. Your leadership will foster a positive, collaborative work environment, motivating the team through effective communication, regular feedback, and recognition of achievements.

Responsibilities

    • Lead and develop the SDR team by recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training high-performing SDRs.
    •  Implement comprehensive training programs, regular performance reviews, and motivational incentive systems.
    • Develop targeted outbound sales strategies and define ideal customer profiles (ICPs) for the SMB segment.
    • Oversee lead generation, ensuring leads meet ICP criteria, and manage the lead handoff process to the sales team.
    • Collaborate on sales pipeline management, forecast accurately, and analyze data to adjust strategies.
    • Foster a positive team culture, encouraging communication, celebrating successes, and promoting professional growth.

Requirements

    • 6-10 years of experience in Outbound/inbound prospecting, preferably in SaaS
    • 1-2 years of proven experience in managing and developing successful SDR teams.
    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • In-depth knowledge of the SMB sales landscape and outbound sales best practices.
    • Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
    • A data-driven approach to decision-making and performance analysis.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
